The Lawson Foundation, a cornerstone in Canadian philanthropy with nearly seventy years of impactful work, is embarking on a search for a new President & CEO. This pivotal role opens as the current CEO, Marcel Lauzière, plans to retire in April 2024, setting the stage for a visionary leader to continue the Foundation’s legacy of supporting the healthy development of children and youth across Canada.

The incoming President & CEO will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of the Foundation, working collaboratively with a diverse and professional Board, a dedicated virtual team, and a vibrant multigenerational family network of members.

This leadership role calls for a strategy-oriented individual who can continue to strengthen the Foundation’s granting and convening capacities, foster collaborations, and uphold the unwavering commitment to quality and ongoing evaluation. The Foundation has a rich history of taking bold strides in philanthropy, and the next President & CEO is expected to honour this legacy while pushing the boundaries to find new and innovative ways to support child and youth development.

Integrity, humility, authenticity, and proven leadership are the hallmarks of the ideal candidate. The new leader will swiftly earn the trust and confidence of the Board, the team, and the broader community, continuing the Lawson Foundation’s tradition of excellence and impact.
