We are thrilled to announce that Jeff LaPlante has joined the Lawson Foundation as our new Director, Diabetes Prevention. Jeff joins the Lawson team at a critical time as we sharpen our Child & Youth Diabetes focus to concentrate on the prevention of type 2 diabetes in northern and remote Indigenous communities. Jeff is of Métis ancestry and was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was most recently the Executive Director of the National Indigenous Diabetes Association. Welcome to the team, Jeff!
