Nayan Datta Biswas joined Lawson Foundation in 2021 as an administrative coordinator. Prior to this position, she worked in various fields including teaching in college, schools, and the training industry in her home country, India. After coming to Canada, she worked as an admin assistant at Canadian Institute of Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) and at The Counselling Foundation of Canada. She currently oversees day to day administrative tasks and plays an active role in the operations team of Foundation House.

Nayan obtained her master’s degree in Zoology from the University of Calcutta, India. During her university days she developed a passion for wildlife, a passion she wants to share with children and youth. Over the last few years, she has been actively engaged in promoting science awareness among small children through an interactive science programme in the unique community, Saint James Town Community Corner.
