Allison Tse is a community and economic development practitioner with experience in the public and nonprofit sectors. She holds a Master of Regional Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from The College of William & Mary. Allison has published research on social finance in early childhood and led research projects on local governance and fiscal policy. She has presented her research at conferences in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Prior to graduate school, Allison worked at the US Department of Agriculture and the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, where she focused on community engagement, fundraising, public affairs, and public policy in rural communities. She is an alumna of the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Allison is fascinated by the growing field of social finance and inspired by creative people who work hard to make their communities better places to live.
