In light of COVID-19 we want to share the steps we have taken at the Lawson Foundation. In efforts to contribute to the national effort to curb COVID-19, as of March 16 and for the forseeable future, we’ve shifted our operations to all-remote work and therefore Foundation House is closed. We’ve cancelled in-person meetings and others have been shifted to virtual gatherings. A priority is to ensure the safety and health of our staff, grantees and partners.

Further, given the unprecedented challenges facing our grantees due to COVID-19, we are lifting the restrictions on our existing grants to provide more flexibility on how our grantees can use their dollars to deal with urgent issues, suspending reporting requirements for the time being and continuing to flow grant payments as scheduled. We invite you to read the letter we sent to our grantees here.
